Lick It Bite It or Both, a local cupcake/ice cream shop, located at 11101 North Burnet Road in Austin, Texas, across from the old IBM building, is a great stop for dessert. The unique thing about this shop is the presentation of its cupcakes. Placed in stemmed glassware, each cupcake is proudly displayed to entice the customer to buy. The colorful and tasteful display puts this cupcake in another league.
These cupcakes are moist and delicious. The variety of flavors makes it possible to please every customer in the mood for a sweet treat. Weekday hours are from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. The shop is open on Sunday from 12:00 to 8:00 pm. Stop by for a look!
I made my first visit one evening before Valentine's Day. Sample Valentine Day cupcakes were displayed on the counter. The cupcakes celebrated the big day with yellow bumble bees as accents. They were adorable.
On the wall above the eating area are thousands of cupcake wrappers left by customers. Many have left messages or pictures on their papers for decoration. The cupcake is well celebrated in this business.
I was so enamored with the cupcakes on display that I barely noticed the ice cream. Ice cream and cupcakes are offered for sale in this establishment. If you are not an ice cream eater, no problem. Cupcakes are available for you and vice versa.
Buy Some Cupcakes
I purchased cupcakes for my daughter-in-love, a cupcake fanatic. She and our son were moving into a new place and the cupcakes were a treat in the midst of a lot of work. The boxes provided to carry the cupcakes are reusable. Take them back in for a refill and save one dollar. These boxes are colorful and sturdy. The cupcakes I purchased were tasty and moist. There is no doubt that I will stop by again and make another purchase. Hope to see you there!

Lick It Bite It or Both - the name of the shop is just ingenious! It makes you think what are they saying about, then it makes you laugh and its not rude! I just like that polite humor that relates to a not so polite things :)

Clever name! I also think it is great that they give a dollar off if you reuse the container. If I visit the area I will definitely stop there - I'm hungry for cupcakes now!
